Remote research collaborators, typically former employees, students or visiting scholars, may be granted certain temporary Texas A&M University System access (such as email and NetID) with approval through the appropriate Engineering offices. Approvals are facilitated by Engineering Human Resources. Approvals can be granted for up to one year at a time.
To initiate the process, the prospective remote collaborator should complete a Remote Collaborator Form. The request will then be routed for approvals to grant accesses to the remote collaborator. The collaborator will be notified when the request has been approved.
In addition, the remote collaborator may be subject to mandated training requirements in the areas of ethics, information security, research compliance and safety as deemed necessary for the purpose of their visit.
