TEES is a state agency that is part of the Texas A&M University System. The Texas A&M System is one of the United States' largest higher education systems. It is made up of eight state agencies, 11 universities, a comprehensive health science center and Texas A&M-RELLIS.  

We work closely with the Texas A&M University College of Engineering. The College of Engineering is the second-largest engineering academic program by research expenditures in the nation. It is consistently placed among the nation's top public undergraduate and graduate engineering programs in U.S. News & World Report rankings. 

Our synergy with the College of Engineering combines basic and applied research to provide practical solutions to problems. We have access to world-class personnel and facilities across the A&M System. Partnering with TEES means joining forces with the brightest minds in research and access to the best research and testing facilities. 

TEES: Who We Are. TEES is led by the State of Texas Charter and leverages relationships with the Texas A&M University System and the Texas A&M College of Engineering while still operating as an effective independent research agency.
TEES is an independent research agency driven by the State of Texas Charter to serve the state and the nation. We are a member of The Texas A&M University System and affiliated with the Texas A&M University College of Engineering.
