As the manufacturing industry shifts toward smart technologies and automation, the threat of bad actors compromising industrial capability rises. SecureAmerica Institute partners are developing an external system to identify and prevent robotic untrustworthiness.

Dr. Katherine Davis and her team are working on a solution to help utility providers respond against multi-stage, cyber-physical threats. The U.S. Department of Energy project will develop a physics-informed, artificial intelligence-enabled intrusion response solution for energy management systems in support of power resiliency.

5G technology is poised to offer manufacturers the ability to make rapid, real-time decisions — bridging existing gaps in the nation’s industrial base.
