Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) allows former employees to continue health, dental, and/or vision coverage for up to 18 months after employment has ended.

Once employment has ended, the former employee will receive a notice by mail from Navia, our insurance billing vendor, regarding the COBRA continuation coverage. Coverage is elected and payments are made through Navia.

NOTE: Graduate Assistants may continue the Grad Health Plan after graduation for up to six months through Academic Health Plans (AHP) by completing a GSE Continuation Enrollment form, rather than switching to the A&M Care Plan to pay for COBRA coverage.
