CompTIA Security + and Project+ Certification Preparation (plus test vouchers)

The CompTIA Security+ and Project+ Preparation courses offered through Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center deliver a self-paced, online curriculum with practice labs, assessments, and vouchers for the certification exams. Security+ is the foundational credential for cybersecurity professionals, validating skills in threat detection, incident response, and security configuration, and is compliant with ISO 17024 and U.S. Department of Defense standards. Complementing this, the CompTIA Project+ certification validates the ability to manage the entire project lifecycle for small to medium-sized IT projects. It covers planning, execution and closure, while emphasizing communication, risk management and resource allocation. Project+ is vendor-neutral, incorporates both traditional and agile methodologies and serves as an entry-level credential for IT professionals, project coordinators and managers

Together, these certifications prepare TEES Bachelors+ students to lead secure and efficient projects in technology-driven environments, bridging technical problem-solving with project management excellence.
