Earn cybersecurity certificates for only a fraction of the cost.
Texas A&M University College of Engineering undergraduate students enrolled in the Bachelor's+ Program will take a cybersecurity course — CompTIA Security+ — and its corresponding exam. Upon successful completion of the course and passing of the exam, the student will earn the CompTIA Security+ certificate along with the Bachelor's+ Certificate of Completion.
The course will be delivered online (asynchronously) and require approximately 80 contact hours of time to complete.
Courses began on Monday, May 12, 2025. You will receive an email on the first day with a link to open the course in Canvas, our learning management system. You will need to add your name and email address in order to access the course module.
Earning a highly regarded certification that requires rigorous study of relevant domains, standards, and practical applications is an excellent way to demonstrate to hiring leaders that you take your career seriously.
