Records management is the commitment to maintaining active and continuing state records in compliance with federal and state law. The Texas A&M University System maintains the record retention schedule that all members must follow.
Records Destruction Forms must be submitted to the Ethics and Compliance Office for approval prior to record destruction.
A records coordinator for each division shall be appointed, and this designation shall be communicated to the TEES Records Management Officer (see below). Retention of State Records (TrainTraq Course #11015) will be assigned to the division records coordinator.
Our office can assist with questions related to the retention of records.
