Maintenance 

One of Engineering Facilities Planning Management's priorities is to make sure that our facilities are well-maintained and consistently functioning properly.

For any maintenance needs, please contact the Engineering Facilities Planning Management facilities coordinator that is assigned to your building. The facilities coordinator is the point of contact for AggieWorks, SSC, Texas A&M's Utilities & Energy Services and any other building contractors performing repairs or preventative maintenance.

Projects 

Every project is different and has its own complexities. Engineering Facilities Planning Management has professional project managers to navigate the complexities for a complete and efficient project workflow.

This point of contact works directly for Engineering Facilities Planning Management, the office that manages engineering facility projects. Projects are requests that require infrastructure changes that relate to the structure or utilities of a facility.

Access and Security

Ensuring that Texas A&M personnel and assets are protected is a responsibility for all employees and students. In compliance with Texas A&M policies, Engineering Facilities Planning Management helps manage the access systems to make sure the correct people have the right access. 

Building access is managed by Engineering Facilities Planning Management. Departmental points of contact authorize and process access with the Engineering Facilities Planning Management facilities coordinator. This collaboration ensures that everyone has appropriate card-key or physical-key access. In tandem security for all rooms and buildings is achieved with Texas A&M sanctioned security measures.

Space Inventory

Facilities space inventory is managed by Engineering Facilities Planning Management. Regular reviews are conducted for state certification and internal updates. This ensures accuracy and appropriate allocation.

Building Emergency Action Plan

The Engineering Facilities Planning Management team manages the Building Emergency Action Plan (BEAP). The BEAP plans outlines strategic training, team development, and responses for everyone to apply in building emergencies. The Engineering Facilities Planning Management facilities coordinator leads BEAP team and emergency efforts.
