Lance Graul

Bio

  • Lance Graul is a doctoral candidate in biomedical engineering at Texas A&M University under Dr. Duncan Maitland of the Biomedical Device Laboratory. He has a Bachelor of Arts in classics and a Bachelor of Science, Engineering in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University, as well as a Master of Engineering in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M. His background includes biomechanics, stroke rehabilitation and medical devices. Graul has experience in quality assurance/control and medical device manufacturing, and his current research focuses on in vivo mass loss analysis of shape memory polymer embolic devices. Graul aspires to use his technical background in the world of intellectual property as a patent attorney for startup ventures in medical devices.
