Supplements System Policy 07.03, System Regulation 07.03.01

 

Rule Summary

The Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) Chief Executive Officer must promulgate rules for the regulation of political campaign meetings or speeches and other activities relating to political campaigns on member property as provided in System Regulation 07.03.01, Political Campaign Events in Facilities Under the Control of The Texas A&M University System, and by this rule.

 

Procedures and Responsibilities

1. USE OF FACILITIES

    • 1.1 – On property occupied by TEES, reasonable restrictions as to the time, place, and manner of political activities may be imposed as long as all similar activities are subject to the same consistently applied restrictions.
    • 1.2 – Facilities will be equally available to all groups without regard to a group’s political affiliation or doctrine.
    • 1.3 – Division Heads are to inform the Agency Director whenever requests of a political nature are received, including requests for facility use involving political activities or visits by current political office holders.
