The Texas A&M University System’s Office of Technology Commercialization recently presented Patent Awards to individuals and teams who are currently employed by the A&M System and whose inventions were granted patent protection from the United States Patent & Trademark Office in 2011.

"This event gives us the chance to formally recognize the researchers within the A&M System whose work has significant real-world applications," Chancellor John Sharp said. "Through commercialization of their inventions, research that began in a lab now has the chance to extend its reach and make a difference in people’s lives."
