Please visit Texas A&M Innovation to download our software disclosure and invention disclosure forms.
In completing disclosure forms, please pay particular attention to the following items.
- Identify sources that financially supported the work that led to the invention or software. We use this section of the Software Disclosure Form or Invention Disclosure Form to identify obligations owed to third parties that funded the work. For example, if the National Science Foundation funded work that led to the invention, the United States government has certain rights in the invention. It is important that we know that the work that led to the invention was federally funded so that we can satisfy our obligations to the U.S. government.
- Clearly identify how the novel aspects of your invention differ from the art and explain how those differences lead to an improvement over the art.
- Include all of the required signatures prior to submission.
