What is a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template repository?
- A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template repository (VPAT) is a standardized template completed by a vendor that attests to how accessible a particular product is according to federal Section 508 Standards.
- Uses an official format provided by the Information Technology Industry Council (ITIC).
- Meets requirements for TAC 213.38 (b).
- A handy way to summarize accessibility and compliance information.
What is the VPAT repository?
- A means to save vendor VPATs in one place to minimize time spent searching for VPATs.
- Allows us to easily organize and keep track of different versions.
- It is voluntary.
