TEES one-stop shop for pre-award services!

TEES Research Services (TRS) is responsible for all pre-award functions the Texas Engineering Experiment Station.  This includes proposal preparation, contract negations and research compliance.

Specific Services Include:

  • Identifying and disseminating funding opportunities to principal investigators
  • Budget review and preparation
  • Proposal preparation
  • Proposal submission to sponsors
  • Preparation of sponsored required forms
  • Review and negotiate all agreements, including
    • Non-disclosure agreements
    • Memoranda of agreement
    • Cooperative agreements
    • Grants
  • Ensures that applicable federal and state regulations as well as TAMUS guidelines are followed
  • Acts as liaison between the PI, sponsor, TAMUS Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC), Office of General Counsel and collaborators
  • Electronic routing of proposal documents and award letters for internal approval
  • Maintain database accessible via EPIK Portal on current and archived proposals and contracts
  • Offering training opportunities to researchers and staff
