Engagement is more than a one-time training, it is a commitment to work together to build an environment that strives on continuous improvement by developing skills through learning opportunities, and reinforcing mutual respect among all A&M Engineering employees.

Engagement Opportunities

Definitions

Engagement - employees actively working together to define and enhance our culture.

Functional Group - a group of staff members with similar job responsibilities who come together to share best practices, establish consistency in process and develop lines of communication across Texas A&M Engineering. Initially eight FG have been identified:

  • Organizational Leadership
  • Administrative Coordination
  • Advising
  • Business Operations
  • Communications
  • Facilities & Labs
  • Information Technology
  • Research

Engagement Leader - an individual who has the qualities to influence other staff members in a positive and productive manner to embrace the engagement experience and bring cohesiveness to the Functional Group.
