Employees of the Texas A&M University College of Engineering and the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station are recognized for their length of employment via the Employee Service Recognition program. Gifts of appreciation are presented to employees who have reached ten (10) years of service and presented every ten years thereafter.
Acknowledgement is honored annually in May at the Faculty and Staff Awards Banquet with a memorable gift item. Staff will also be recognized at the Annual Engineering Staff Workshop.
Service with Texas A&M University College of Engineering and the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station and/or other A&M System members counts towards service time. Service with other State agencies (ie: Texas Department of Transportation or other state higher education institutions not in the A&M System) does not qualify. Faculty appointments of at least nine months count as one year of service.
Engineering Human Resources oversees the distribution of gift items and verification of eligible employees. Verification is coordinated through each employee's department/division HR-Business office.
