Texas A&M Engineering’s graduate program was ranked 12th overall nationally and remained seventh among public institutions in the latest U.S. News & World Report survey, “America’s Best Graduate Schools 2019.”

Eight departments in the College of Engineering were also ranked in the top 10 public universities: aerospace engineering (4), biological and agricultural engineering (3), civil engineering (8), computer engineering (10), industrial and systems engineering (9), mechanical engineering (8), nuclear engineering (2) and petroleum engineering (2).

The complete list of individual programs ranked were: aerospace engineering, 7 (4 public); biological and agricultural engineering 3 (3); biomedical engineering 38 (19); chemical engineering 21 (12); civil engineering 15 (8); computer engineering 17 (10); computer science 43 (23); electrical engineering 21 (12); industrial and systems engineering 13 (9); materials science and engineering 37 (23); mechanical engineering 16 (8); nuclear engineering 3 (2); and petroleum engineering 2 (2).
