E-Verify

E-Verify is an internet-based system operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in partnership with the Social Security Administration (SSA). E-Verify provides a means for participating employers to verify the identity and employment eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States, regardless of citizenship. As a federal contractor, our participation in E-Verify requires confirmation of employment eligibility by providing the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information obtained from the employee’s Form I-9. E-Verify is not used to pre-screen job applicants. Verification is conducted by TEES Personnel Services working with the employee and division/department HR contact.
