Dr. Alaa Elwany earned a Doctor of Philosophy in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Before coming to Texas A&M, he was a faculty member at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands and a research scientist at the Manufacturing Systems Research laboratory for General Motors Research & Development. He holds a United States patent for "Method and Apparatus for Managing Heat Energy in a Metal Casting Plant," and in 2017, he received the Texas A&M Engineering Excellence in Teaching award as well as the Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Dr. Dave Krzeminski

Dr. Dave Krzeminski serves as an applications and projects consultant for EOS North America’s Additive Minds team. Additive Minds works closely with current and potential EOS clients to provide end-to-end guidance for embracing and leveraging additive manufacturing from start to part. In his role, he helps business leaders streamline polymer and metals application development and specializes in guiding complex projects through accelerated development processes. He helps his clients bring each project from prototype to production more quickly and efficiently.
Dave has more than a decade of experience in additive manufacturing, applied research and new product development for the sporting goods, defense and medical industries. With expertise solving problems at the human-material interface, his history of success includes creating advanced head protection solutions for warfighters and bringing foam replacement technologies to market for a Silicon Valley startup. He played an integral role in developing EOS’s Digital Foam™ program.
Dave earned undergraduate degrees in materials science and biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a doctoral degree in sports and high performance materials from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Maryna Ienina
- Additive Manufacturing Consultant – Digitalization | EOS North America
Maryna Ienina is an additive minds consultant in digitalization at EOS. She supports integration of EOS systems into existing manufacturing infrastructure and use of machine sensor data to optimize utilization of industrial 3D Printing. She also coordinates activities for Additive Minds Academy and facilitates digitalization of AM education.
Maryna earned master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University, Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), and the National Technical University of Ukraine Polytechnic Institute. At KIST, she did research about the flexible floating ring seal used to reduce air leakage and increase compressor efficiency. She started her journey in additive manufacturing in July 2016 as an applications engineer.
Now, together with EOS Additive Minds, she shares her expertise to help in leveraging innovation with industrial 3D printing.
